Did you know that in Orange County, there are more than 450,000 people at risk of going to bed hungry sometime each month? The majority of people at risk of going hungry each month are children and single-parents, seniors on fixed incomes, the working poor, and other men and women confronted by financial difficulty or who are physically unable to earn a living.

Please join us on December 18th 2009 from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm to help feed needy people in Orange County. We will be collecting your donations for Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. We’ll have special gifts and refreshments for you.

We understand if you are busy. We’ll continue to collect your donations between December 10th and December 31st during our business hours. Please see list below for most needed items.

Most Needed Items
Canned meats, canned fish, beef stew, chili pasta, macaroni & cheese, rice, beans, canned fruits & vegetables, canned juices, soups, hot & cold cereals, peanut butter

Personal Care Items Needed
Diapers, toothpaste & toothbrushes, deodorant, toilet tissue, razors, Q-tips, soap, band-aids, combs & brushes, and feminine hygiene items

Also, every $1.00 will provide $6.00 worth of food!
